When we face our own darkness, we light it. And then we don’t shrink back from darkness in others. We can face it with more grace, faith, and love.
We can see beyond their choices to who they are. We can understand them, accept them, believe in them, and love them.
When can only feel self-righteous when we have yet to face our own darkness.
