Dear Friends: How do we trigger grace, and accept it?

I am reminded that I don’t have to fully understand an issue, before I accept the grace that heals it. That’s straight forward truth. But I’m still learning to live it.

My personality wants to shine a light into every dark crevice. And then I want to get in there with a little brush to clean out the debris and reach the bottom. We have to get rid of the old, right? And don’t we have to do that before we can replace it with a new belief, a healthier habit, a new way of living? Yes.

But, maybe, we don’t have to fully understand it, to let go of it. Maybe we can trust our deep knowing enough to let go of what we are still learning to understand. We can, because we don’t have to understand exactly how, and when, and why something came to be, to discern that it’s unloving.

When something doesn’t serve us, it’s unloving. We can let go of it. And as we exercise enough faith to let go, we also open our mind to a deeper level of understanding, one that confirms our deep knowing.

We can shine a light in the darkness. We can scour away the obsolete. And we can ALSO trust our knowing to transcend the issue. And, we can accept the grace triggered by facing the issue and doing the part we can do.

Grace picks up where we leave off. When we’ve done what we can, the waiting is over. And we discover that we ARE the grace. We ARE what transcends the issue. We ARE the healing.

So, what feels unloving to you? What do you want to let go of that doesn’t serve you? Oh, and what do you want to do, that you can do, that you haven’t done yet? And, is there really anything you can’t do, if you let go and become the grace?

Love smiles,
