As we celebrate 250 years of independence in America, I send you love and renewed hope. May we remember that freedom is a choice we make. And happiness, like freedom, is a choice; it is not a gift. Without the “pursuit of happiness,” there is no happiness.
The pursuit looks different to each of us; because we each write a different story. But we also write a collective story. May we find peace in conscious choices, rather than sameness.
