Mom has lived with me for three years today. And I’m one grateful little girl. She has “far exceeded all expectations” of the medical professionals. And that feels like a bucket of grace, since my sisters opposed Mom’s decision to leave the nursing home. But what I’m most grateful for is that I love Mom from a purer place than I can consciously remember. And she knows it.
