We can justify stifling our authentic self, and the truth, by saying, “We want to keep the peace,” or “We don’t want to hurt somebody’s feelings.” But to mask our truth is to create internal conflict, and manifest less than our best. Diluting the truth doesn’t serve ANYBODY. It expresses a lack of faith in their ability to handle it. And postponing the truth just makes it tougher to face.
Granted, we can’t force others to see the truth. But we can live the truth, regardless of how they respond to it.
Let’s not wake up living a lie, because somebody else isn’t ready for the truth. Let’s trust what we know, and live the truth. And let’s do it with all the peace and joy of love.
Love smiles on you,
