The uglier the problem, the more attractive the solution is. The greater the challenge, the greater the reward.
Sometimes, in the face of the challenge, we forget … or we get tired, or hungry, or something. To remember who we are and what we’re capable of, we must be present. We must pay attention to our needs. We must love and nurture our body, mind, and spirit.
And we must let knowledge guide our love. That means tuning into who you are; and it means recognizing that you are NOT your ego. You are not your fear.
Let’s remember that love has a solution for every problem. Let’s assume that the solution is there and that we can access it. Let’s trust that truth.
An example, well, maybe two examples: Some of you know that I took a break from my work to assist Sam with saving and rebuilding his clinic. What a gift! And, yes, the solution was there!
For the last few years, I’ve been able to re-focus on my work–writing, consulting, and speaking. But during the time I was away, not only did I lose momentum, the industry changed dramatically. And about the time, I thought I was making some headway, a pandemic struck.
I already knew–from publishers and agents–that the market was ultra tight. I knew I’d have to write something “irresistible” to land a contract. Well, now, just think … I have to write something even more irresistible. And when I do, I’m going to love it, even if nobody else does. But wouldn’t it be cool if I managed to bleed love on the paper. Love is irresistible.
I don’t know what you’re facing, but I know the solution is love. And I know … you are love.
